Turkish Exports Break Records in the First Half of 2021

According to the exports report published by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, Turkey’s export has been reached an all-time high $105 billion with the 40% of the rise in the first half of 2021.

Also, exports in June increased by 47% compared to the same month of the previous year and reached $19.8 billion.

It is also noted that the last 12-month export value was $199 billion 567 million, making it the ‘highest 12-month export’ to date.

Turkey mostly exported goods to countries like Germany, United States, and the United Kingdom.

Imports, on the other hand, increased by 27.5% in the first half of the year compared to last year and amounted to $126.1 billion. In the January-June period, the ratio of exports to imports rose to 83.2% with an increase of 7.3 points compared to the previous year.
