New Company Launches Soar in Turkey

In June 2021, 9 thousand 560 companies were established, and this number increased by 113.4% compared to the previous month in Turkey.

According to the data published by the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), the number of companies established increased by 113.4% compared to the previous month, and thus a total of 9,560 companies were established in Turkey.

Of the total 9,560 companies and cooperatives established, 85.8% are limited liability companies, 12.9% are joint-stock companies, and 1.2% are cooperatives.

The number of companies closing on the same dates increased by 120.5%, and 1226 companies were closed in June 2021.

1293 companies with foreign partners established in Turkey in the same period. Of the 1293 foreign joint venture companies established last month, 770 have Turkish partners, 70 have Iranian partners, and 39 have Syrian partners.

128 of the foreign joint-capital companies that started their business are operating in the status of joint-stock companies, and 1165 of them are limited liability companies. Of the companies established this year, 868 were involved in wholesale trade in non-specialized stores, 326 in business and other administrative consultancy activities, and 323 in the real estate agencies sector.
