Obligation of Notification of Foreign Capitalized Companies, Branches and Liaison Offices

Foreign capitalized companies, branches and liaison offices are obliged to notify related government authorities for their annual activities and/or in case there is a change in capital and shareholder structure of the legal entity according to Turkish Foreign Direct Investment Laws and Governing Regulations. Current year’s notification has to be made at the latest following year’s end of May. Notifications were making with hard copy forms which are published by the Ministry. As of 2019, It is decided that following forms must be submitted through E-TUYS (Electronic Incentive Application and Foreign Capital Information System) system for 2018 activities according to regulation change which is published in The Republic of Turkey Official Gazette on 01.06.2018.

Companies must authorize someone who has electronic signature in order to submit these forms. Following documents must be sent to related government authority for authorization:

  • Petition
  • Notarized commitment letter
  • User authorization form
  • Original signatory circular
