More Than 6.000 Global Companies Have Been Established in Turkey in the First Half of 2019

This article reflects information regarding the trends of Investments in Turkey during the first half of the year 2019. The facts and figures included are based on the survey report of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).

According to the report published by TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey), 6.181 global companies have been established in Turkey in the first half of 2019. 5.622 of them were limited liability companies, whilst 559 of them were Incorporation companies. There is 6,86% increase compared to 2018 (5.782).

362 of incorporation companies have been established in Istanbul with more than 169 Million Turkish Liras capital amount. On the other hand, 3.530 of limited liability companies have been established in Istanbul with more than 1 Billion Turkish Liras capital amount.

Global companies made more than 1.7 Billion Turkish Lira capital investment to Turkey within this 6 month’s period. Top 10 countries by capital investments are shown in the following table :
